1. All tariffs to be paid in advance.
2. No excessive noise at ANY TIME. Please keep T.V. & radio to a minimum.
3. Parents are responsible for children’s behaviour. Children must be supervised in amenities.
4. Speed limit 5K.P.H. within park, this includes bikes and scooters.
5. No visitors & no noise after 10 P.M.
6. Cars and trailers to be parked where directed.
7. Please wrap rubbish before placing in bins.
8. No repairs or maintenance to vehicles without prior approval of management.
9. Site must be kept clean and tidy.
10. No clotheslines to be erected or ropes tied to trees unless approved by management.
11. No unregistered vehicles allowed in park.
12. No pets allowed without approval of management.
13. Any behaviour deemed a nuisance by management will not be tolerated.
14. Children riding bikes must wear a helmet and ride on roads only. No riding after dark.
15. You are responsible for your visitor’s behaviour.
16. Nothing to be erected without approval.
17. No fires
18. We are a tourist park please abide these few rules so everyone can enjoy their stay. Think of your fellow travellers.
19. All signs and rules displayed around park must be adhered to.
20. Any abuse towards staff or other guests will not be tolerated, you will be asked to leave.
21. Management reserves the right to terminate occupancy at any time without reason.
22. Refund of fees will be at managers discretion with regards to cancellation policy.

TO SECURE YOUR BOOKING: Full Payment is required upon booking.

By completing a transaction with Cardwell Caravan Park you are entering into an agreement with us that binds you to the terms, conditions and rules of Cardwell Caravan Park. Failure to disclose all relevant information or comply with these terms may lead to termination of the agreement and loss of the booking.

Cardwell Caravan Park holds no responsibility or liability for any lost, damaged or stolen goods belonging to the guest. Guests who bring their valuable possessions do so at their own risk.

Cardwell Caravan Park will not be held responsible for any damages caused by a third party of the booking.

Charges to the Credit Card are based solely on the effect of property damages and not who caused them.

Guests who provide Credit Card details at the time of the booking is held fully accountable for any debits that are taken from the supplied Credit Card that are bounded in these terms and conditions, that is, but not limited to; Damages, Cancellation Policy, Smoking fee, Late check-out fee and Lost Key fee.

Cardwell Caravan Park has taken measures to ensure the maximum safety for guests in the duration of their stay. Cardwell Caravan Park will not be held liable for any injuries, damages or stolen goods caused by third parties, guests within themselves or the public.

If any Terms and Conditions are breached with in the duration of the guests stay, fees and charges will be applied.

By making a booking with us you are entering into a contract with us and agreeing to abide by, the terms, conditions and rules of the Cardwell Caravan Park. The contract binds you and all members of your party to accept the terms of the contract set out in these terms & conditions.

Check in after 12 PM is preferred for sites, cabins after 1 PM earlier check in may be available by contacting reception by phone.

Guests must vacate the park by 10am. Late check out is available for an additional fee - subject to availability.

All rates shown are for a base rate of two people. All additional people are charged per person per night. Your confirmation email will state the number of people you have booked for. Base rate for Cabin bookings is for 2 people sharing the Queen bed. All additional people are charged per person per night.

We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. To ensure fairness for both our guests and our park operations, the following cancellation policy applies to all bookings:

Your booking is for a specific date(s) and period of time. Once confirmed, cancellations will result in liability for payment in accordance with this policy.

OFF PEAK SEASON - 1 November to 30 April (Easter, Special events, School and Public Holidays Exempt)

PEAK SEASON: - 1 May to 31 October.

1. Standard Bookings

• Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to arrival:

Full refund of deposit or prepayment, less a $30 administration fee.

• Cancellations made between 7–13 days prior to arrival:

50% refund of deposit or prepayment.

• Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to arrival or no-shows:

No refund will be issued.

3. Early Departures

• Guests who shorten their stay after arrival will not be entitled to a refund for unused nights.

5. Transfers & Credits

• At management’s discretion, bookings may be transferred to alternative dates or credited for future stays (valid for 12 months), subject to availability.

6. How to Cancel

• All cancellations must be made in writing via email or confirmed by phone with our office.

• Refunds will be processed within 10 business days.

2. Long-Term Bookings (Weekly or monthly stays)

• Deposit Requirement: A deposit equal to one week’s tariff is required to secure all long-term bookings.

• Cancellations made 30+ days prior to arrival: Full refund of deposit less $50 admin fee.

• Cancellations made 8–30 days prior to arrival: 50% refund of deposit.

• Cancellations within 7 days of arrival or no-shows: No refund.

Early Departure (After Check-In)

• Guests who leave before the agreed end date must provide at least 7 days’ notice.

• If less than 7 days’ notice is given, one week’s tariff will be forfeited.

• Refunds for unused nights are not provided once the stay has commenced.

Extensions & Transfers

• Extensions are subject to availability and must be paid in advance.

• Transfers to alternative dates may be offered at management’s discretion, valid for up to 6 months.

3. Peak Periods & Special Events

1 May to 31 October. Christmas, Easter, school holidays and long weekends.

• 30+ days prior to arrival: Refund less $50 admin fee.

• Within 30 days of arrival: No refund.

4. Weather & Natural Events

• Refunds are only provided if the park is officially closed or deemed unsafe by management.

5. Cancellation Process

• All cancellations must be made in writing (email) or confirmed by phone.

• Refunds processed within 10 business days.

We do not guarantee Site or Cabin numbers.  Sites and Cabins are allocated at the discretion of management and may be changed without notice to a Site or Cabin of the same, or greater, type.  Changes may occur to accommodate other bookings or for maintenance issues.  We do endeavour to please our guests in maintaining their requests, however, management reserve the right to move bookings if necessary at any time. 

Pets are welcome on sites but subject to pre-approval in cabins, extra fees apply. Please ring reception prior to booking

1. All animals must be restrained at all times. Please make sure dogs that are tied up, that the rope or leash does not allow access to adjacent sites or roads.
2. Dogs must be walked outside of park.
3. All droppings must be picked up, wrapped in plastic and placed in bins. This includes front nature strip.
4. Barking dogs will not be tolerated.
5. Dogs are not to be left unattended in the park without permission from management.
6. Dogs are prohibited from the camp kitchen, laundry and amenities building.

 Dog owners agree to take full responsibility of any personal injury or damage caused by their dog whilst within the confines of the park and agree to pay for any claims of compensation in relation to their dogs activities.

Please do not charge electric vehicles on site.  There are two EV chargers located on Victoria Street (Bruce Highway) opposite the town pool.  Please note that a fee of $50 will apply if you plug in your electric vehicle on site at Cardwell Caravan Park.
